The year is rushing past and already we find ourselves in April!  The 9th wave of Consciousness Shifting, in relation to the Mayan Calendar, has already begun, and so a year's worth of shifts and changes will now be squeezed into the period of 18 days! It's amazing and almost slightly overwhelming at times.

This is why working on ourselves as often as we can (every day really) is so important to keep up with the shifts that are going on around us.  We are in momentous times, where the struggle between the Ego self and staying centred has never been more apparent.  We are being gifted this wonderful opportunity to experience this shift in Consciousness and be a part of the Evolution of the World.

The Essence which has been 'chosen' this month is the Essence 'Transcend'. As with all our Essences of Illumination, this essence has been created to bring balance to our female and male selves.   We have also suggested accompanying Transcend with Balance and Boost... more details on that below.

The Guidance

As we steadily progress through the year, so we see the changes that are happening around us.  We saw last month that finally, Winter is Transforming into Spring, and life and growth now becomes more visible again to the naked eye.

With each new year that comes, indeed, with each new moment that arrives, there is growth, change, and evolution.  There is nothing that can halt the evolution of the Planet, but you can choose whether to go along willingly or go along kicking and screaming.

As everything evolves, it does, in many ways, become something new, even though at the heart it is still the same - just more evolved.  When you look at the careers of singers and actors, they are often re-inventing who they are in order to stay fresh and move with the flow.  Some might see that as shallow and lacking in strength just to be themselves.  That may well be so for some.  However, is staying stagnant, without growth, with a determination not to change any more healthy?  The more a person hangs on to what they were without allowing change and development, the more challenging and difficult they will find life as it evolves.

Old concepts, ideas, and ways of living are becoming redundant.  A new wave of Evolution is rushing in, and with it, new ideas and ways of thinking.  The possibilities are endless, but in order to experience and enjoy them, you must learn to let go of who you thought you were, and connect with who you really are: Divine Source.

Each passing moment brings with it new opportunities to be more.  It brings with it new opportunities to step forward free from Ego, fear, and illusion; It brings with it a fresh page upon which to continue the story of your Evolution. You don't have to continue writing on the same page if you don't like what's been written so far.  You can turn the page at any time, and begin afresh.

With the month of April comes Easter Energy, which has strong connections with Transcending the Ego, and Ascending the Consciousness to a higher level.  As you let go of the Ego restrictions, it can feel like the person you were is dying, and the fear of this can sometimes bring dread and panic.  Trust that the Pure Self, The Authentic Self, The Divine Source within you, is taking over to lead you into creating a life of continued expansion in much more peaceful and joyful ways.

Do not be angry with yourself or others as you go through this transition from Ego to Divine Source.  All things are on a journey, and so supporting each other, and yourselves, with love and compassion is absolutely key.

The Essence

This is the Energy of the moment: Transcending the Ego.  It is unsurprising then that the Essence of the Month is Transcend. This Essence is powerful in the way it helps you continue to identify where your Ego is still in the driving seat, and where the Divine Consciousness within you can now take back control.

The Essence of Transcend will support your move through the evolution process more easily, albeit it is powerful and will raise your awareness to areas in your life that need addressing.  Ask yourself: do I want to keep denying what needs my attention and putting it off until it becomes so incredibly painful? Or do I want to connect with my Authentic Self, and face this fear now from a place of strength, love, and support.

The energy is the "Energy of the Moment" (in other words, right here, right now) and there has never been a better time to be working on Transcending the Ego self.  We ask: When would now be a good time for you to let go of old Ego behaviours for good?

Even without being enhanced by the Energy of the Moment, Transcend is a powerful essence and can bring about dramatic change in a short time to your life.  Some of the changes and shifts the essence will bring about, can cause feelings of fear and despair.
